Leeds is exhausting!
11 July, 2012
Lots of very good papers, lots of excellent conversations, totes enjoying (my nod to the esteemed Glaswegian) the company and having a wonderful time seeing a famous and reputedly fearsome colleague experiencing his first Leeds, and loving it. Sad that this morning sees competition between Extremely Cool Colleague’s queens panel, Dame J on Hincmar, and another friend’s paper on things Columbanian.
And despite the sodding sodden weather, I’ve managed to pick up two mosquito bites. Hmph.
Also, I may be on the outskirts a bit tonight, because the crowds seem to be not just as exhausting and draining as ever, but also exacerbating the pain of Eustachian tube disorder. Double hmph.

Sorry you’re not feeling all that well but glad to know that the conference remains so exciting and energizing, academically!
Ugh, my sympathies on the volume/ear trouble! I had an attack of that on Monday and it was most displeasing.
